Review: LANCOME Visionnaire Adv Skin Corrector

Sep 18, 2013
LACOME, is the one, and probably only one European brand I am still using after switching to SKII for more than 10 years. I started getting skin care products from departmental stores when I was about 21, from Elizabeth Arden, Clinique, Lacome, Estee Lauder, Chanel, Biotherm, Helena Rubinstein, Clarins, Christian Dior, I came to a conclusion that European brands are mostly too rich for my skin, hence I moved on to explore other Japanese brands like SKII, Cle de Peau Beaute, and Cosme Decorte, since then, there's no turning back as I simply love how Japanese brands suit Asian skins. But Lancome, is the brand that completely changed my skin tone and texture when I was depressed over a tanned, rough skin back then, so I am always willing to give their new products a try.

I requested for some samples of their Visionnaire Advanced Skin Corrector from the link here:
and started my experiment with this serum since last week.

Look at how much serum I squeezed out from the sample sachet?!!! I couldn't believe it because it's clearly indicated that the sample is 1ml but I feel that it could definitely last me for 2 applications, day and night.

Visionnaire Advanced Skin Corrector is a light weight serum that spreads easily on the skin. And it has a slightly thicker texture as compared to many other serums, so I used it as a serum, and a moisturizer without the need to top up with another layer of cream moisturizer. It has a very mild floral scent which is soothing enough. My skin gets brightened up immediately when I apply it on. It takes a little while before it gets fully absorbed. And it leaves this radiant and dewy look on my skin without a trace of unpleasant stickiness or greasiness. It's super easy to apply my make up after that, though I am not sure if it's because I am using their new Teint Visionnaire liquid foundation. I can't stop touching my skin again and again throughout the day because it just feels so supple and firm.

Of course just like any other skin care product, it usually takes about 28 days before we can see clear visible result. I can't comment much about its effect on my pores, they are still visible enough, but I do see my fine lines diminished and that's the very reason why I feel like getting the full size product so I could continue using it since I am running out of samples by now.
